Just wanted to share a sneak peek of the Cape Cod wedding from this past weekend.  It was amazing to be the wedding photographer at such a great location with such a great couple.  We even went to Nauset Light Beach at night for a great star photo!    Anne was so willing and adventurous with my ideas, she made all the shots turn out great.   Congratulations you two!2015-09-23_0002

Ashley & Spencer’s Steampunk Wedding – Dixon, IL

December 1st, 2014

Long time, no post! Long time, no post!

We couldn’t miss the chance to share Spencer & Ashley’s wedding with everyone.  Why?  Because it was uniquely awesome, that’s why.  Also, because the costumes were designed by Ashley and just look at how amazing they turned out!  And yes, I checked, Ashley & Spencer referred to them as costumes as well.  You can view their Etsy shop here:  https://www.etsy.com/shop/FASHDesign

Though impending rain forced the wedding into the tent, I have to say that the approaching storm clouds made very fitting backgrounds for their steampunk style wedding photos.  Since we couldn’t get actual locomotive steam, the moody billowing clouds and atmosphere worked out quite well.

Ashley’s family has been friends with us for a very long time, but not long enough. We really enjoyed photographing their wedding, so here’s some of our favorites.  🙂

Enjoy!

I like the below collage of the girls of the family being emotional, it was a very sweet ceremony.
